Overview
At the Microsoft Management Summit 2009 in Las Vegas, Quest announced a strategic partnership with Microsoft for virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions. Prior to this announcement, Citrix was the only strategic partner with Microsoft for VDI solutions. The Quest vWorkspace product (previously Provision Networks) suite is a mature product with existing cross hypervisor support providing a rounded VDI broker solution with advanced features such as terminal server integration. This document discusses the integration between the vWorkspace product, Microsoft System Center Virtual Machines Manager (SCVMM) and Microsoft Hyper-V.
